We actually purchased $18 deal under Chope flash sale. The deal included 2 sliced beef noodles with add ons, 2 sides and 2 desserts. As a huge fan of beef noodles, we feel that the herbal soup stock can be more rich and hopefully the stall can provide some chilli padi for more oomph! The beef slices were really tender and the beef balls were really well seasoned! This is worth a try and we can see it as a comfort food on a rainy day ☔ 7.5/10

Do take note that you have to wait 45 mins for this. While waiting, you will be offered complimentary bread basket and the other food items which you have ordered, so do remember to pace yourself else you will be too full to enjoy the wellies! I think I had sky high expectations for this after watching HK and Masterchef and sadly, it didn’t meet my expectations. The pastries were abit soggy and the beef was abit too chewy. Paired it with the red wine jus and it became more pleasant. 7/10 considering the price and taste.

Came with a variety of mushrooms, and the mushroom taste was very distinct. So only get this if you truly love mushrooms! The risotto was topped with pesto sauce which we weren’t a fan of. Probably should have skipped this and tried the other items that were more of their specialty! 6/10!

This was mind blowing!! The scallops were really fresh, and every component of the dish came together so well. 13/10, definitely will reorder if I were to come back!

$19: Sausage was the star of the show! Eggs were average but mushrooms lacked flavour. Serving was really generous, especially with the burpple discount! It’s decent but it’s not a dish I will return back for. The ambience of the cafe was really nice so I might actually come back to try their other mains :)

This was $15, I topped up $4 for vanilla ice cream and they were so generous!!! Gave me a whole cup of ice cream on the side. The bread was really soft and moist, so it was easy to eat for me (someone who’s not too into bread but doesn’t hate it either).

I feel that this is the minimum standard for sashimi rice bowls. But to be honest, I think there are better options to try here at Daizu. You can easily get this from places like Tanuki Raw, Hinode Izakaya etc. Not sure why it didn’t cross my mind to order the other dishes, was kinda upset after eating this because the portion was so smol ($28 for ikura don aiyo).

Tldr; well executed dish but not worth trying

This was really tasty! It’s not like the usual carbonara which often tastes too heavy and you’ll get sick off halfway into the dish. It’s only slightly crispy and the aroma of garlic butter really comes through. Sadly, the portion size of this is really small, considering we paid $22 for it :(

The beef was really tender, and the usage of the beer gave depth to the sauce. However, I feel that this was rather average.

Price: $24

They have a separate burpple menu, we chose the garlic fried rice ($11.90) and bara chirashi don ($19) since mongabong recommended it! The garlic fried rice was the best I’ve ever eaten because the rice was fluffy, aromatic and not too oily. Garlic wasn’t bitter from overfrying too. The don was really yummy because the sashimi were really fresh and the rice was well seasoned with furikake. The price is slightly above average, but ingredients used were really fresh. The staff were super friendly and service was really good. Highly recommended, really worth our support đŸ„ș

Best bombolinis in SG!!!!!!!! I love bombos but very often I find them too oily or not having enough of a chew, this hits all sweet spot.

Favourites: Passionfruit & Caramelised Banana, Basque Burnt Cheesecake

Chilli Lime Seafood: Can be likened to aglio olio tinted with lime. The pasta was not too oily and perfectly cooked. There was a generous serving of baby scallops and clams, though the clams were not as fresh as I would like them to be as they tasted kinda fishy.

Steak Frites: 220g of grass fed chargrilled australian ribeye steak at medium doneness, drizzled with black pepper sauce. The steak was really thick and juicy, and the sauce did not overpower the taste of the beef. The fries were perfectly done and extremely addictive!

The staff were super friendly and attentive!!! :)
