Paik's Bibim serves pretty decent bibimbap. Bulgogi bibimbap ($8.50) serving was just nice for me. A great and healthier alternative to your normal fried fast food. Sauce was more of salty than spicy. It would be great if it comes w a runny sunny side up, Asians love runny egg yolk! ;)
Nakhon Kitchen serves pretty awesome Thai food at a pocket-friendly price point, dishes ranges from $6 onwards. You know the food is good when the queue never subsides in all outlets. Go at 5pm to beat the queue, the line does not stops till 930pm at the Holland V outlet!
The 白米粉 here, is the best bee hoon ever! If you are a Hokkien mee lover, you will love this dish as well. Don't bother ordering other dishes if you are not a glutton like me!
Decided to join the hype and try the pricey insta-worthy Korean shaved ice! Choco Banana ($13.90) and Cheesecake Bingsu ($14.90). The shaved ice were very fine, supposedly like "snow"...which also means it melts very quickly. Do eat it quickly or you will end up drinking a bowl of melted milk, not cool.
Caramel Popcorn Ice Cream ($6.80) and Caramel Macchiato Ice Cream were both overly sweet and we couldn't finish either of them. Portion is pretty huge too, I would recommend 2 or more to share. Overall it's just insta-worthy, not worth the hype, price and even calories.
Great bowl of ramen during a rainy day. Soup is very flavorful and who doesn't love runny egg yolks?! Ps/ 10% off if you flash your student pass from Mon - Thu ;)
