Came here for a birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. The steak was tender and juicy. We alao ordered the scallops which were flavourful.

The restaurant itself is very aesthetic, and it was quiet when we went at night. The restaurant were friendly and attentive too.

The restaurant is small but more upscale. The service is impeccable and the food was great. Beware if you have poor spice tolerance, but I think it's generally fine for most people and you can ask for less spicy versions! We tried the Paneer Tikka, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan, Fish Biryani (very spicy) and Hyderabadi Prawn Masala. Everything was delicious but would recommend the butter chicken, garlic nan and prawn masala. There was a promotion for 1 for 1 cocktails, wine and spirits too, which could also be used with Burpple Beyond. Overall, the restaurant had lovely ambience and a cosy setting, I would love to go back again!

We ordered the La Joue de Beouf (Beef Cheek) and Le Confit de Canard (Duck Confit) for the main courses. The duck confit was above average, but the Beef Cheek was the star of the show. It was so tender that is practically melts in your mouth. My favourite part of dinner was the $6 per glass wines, the Merlot was not available so we tried the Syrah. The desert we tried was the Apple Croustillant that came with an ice cream scoop, the contrast of the warm pastry with the cold ice cream was a great way to end our dinner at Ginett. We enjoyed our time there and will be back to enjoy their other promotions!

We had a little difficulty finding the store in the basement of Golden Mile Tower as the shop signage was not "Yummy Yum" but we eventually found the shop. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and guided us on how to order. Every single dish is $2 and we ordered a variety of dishes. Our favourites were the Moo Ping, the fried enoki mushrooms, the grilled pork belly and of course the boat noodles (which had the same broth regardless of what type of noodles were ordered). With Burpple Beyond, the total bill came up to $28 for 2 pax for 2 Chang Beers and 20 dishes. It is very value for money and tasty as well. We will be back!

We got the pulled pork and cheesy beef burgers. Both were slightly above average. What made the place great were their 1 for 1 drink promotions and the interior design. We called ahead and managed to snag one of the few indoor seats with AC. The rest of the seats are al fresco, so do be mindful of that. Would be back as I find the food and drinks to have great value, especially with Burpple Beyond!

My second time here at Nipong Naepong and my repeat dish was the Spicy Keu Risotto. However, I forgot to request for less spice this time and found the spice level unbearable. The previous time I had the risotto, the lower spice level allowed me to taste the flavour of the dish better which made it more enjoyable as compared to this time. We also ordered the Sweet Potato pizza, Beef Ro Ppong Roje, Tae Ppong and Rose Tteokbokki. The pizza was insanely good, but really should be shared with a group (we had 5 pax). We enjoyed the Tae Ppong and the Rose Tteokbokki best. I would give the Beef Ro Ppong Roje a miss the next time and try something else instead.

The best meal that I have discovered through Burpple is at the Coffee Academics! There is usually at least an hours' wait for brunch there on weekends pre-pandemic but I was blessed to be able to get a table without waiting last weekend. We got the academics breakfast and smoked salmon and hash, as well as a iced long black and iced peru organic coffee. The food definitely lives up to the hype and their coffee lives up to their namesake. Will be back to try their other menu items!

Really enjoyed their charcoal grilled whisky ribeye. The steak had a smoky taste to it while the meat was tender. The portion is also hearty while the salad worked well as a palate cleanser. Highly recommended to make reservation as we did not, but since we came around 6.15pm, slightly before most of the reservations at 7.30, we were given 1h+ to finish all our food, which was manageable, but I would have preferred a longer duration. Will be back, this time with a reservation!

There is a special Burpple Beyond menu that has a more limited selection of pastas, risottos and pizzas available for 1 for 1. The service is amazing as the staff are friendly and pleasant. We ordered the Tagliatelle with Pork Sausage in Mushroom Cream Sauce and Porcini Infused Mixed Mushrooms Risotto. Both were good but the risotto was better. Would recommend the risotto. Overall a really pleasant experience, would love to go back.

This place was packed on a weekday night when we went there. We ordered ribeye steaks and noticed that the sizes of steak given to each of us was not consistent. Only mine (pictured) seemed to be 250g, while the rest looked more like 200g. The steak itself was good and well executed, but the fries was passable with little to no truffle taste or aroma. The service was amazing as the staff were very attentive. One irk would have to be the loud edm music that made the whole place feel like a club instead of a more laid back place.

We ordered the Singapore style chilli prawns, hakka steamed tofu and chef joel's xo white fish soup. I would recommend the chilli prawns, particularly with the mantos, as the sauce was sweet yet slightly spicy. It was a very satisfying dish. The hakka steamed tofu was also not bad given that it was a lighter dish. However, I would pass on the xo white fish soup next time as I felt that it wasn't hot enough, making the soup's fishy taste slightly unbearable. Overall, I still enjoyed the food there and would be back if in the area.

We had the 1 for 1 pizzas and pastas (Foie Gras and Truffle Tagliatelle, Beef Lagsana, Prosciutto de Salmon and Burrata Pizza). Everything was really delicious but if I were to order again, I would forgo the salmon pizza for something else on the menu! Would visit again if in the neighbourhood.
