Ordered Oyster Mee Sua and Lu Rou Fan (Braised Pork rice) for around $5 each. Generous with oysters but wished there was more pork. Pearls in the Bubble Milk Tea was too hard and not chewy. Recommend to try the fried squid!

Ordered the Steak Bowl ($10) and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meat - juicy and tender! Comes with onsen egg, I mixed the runny yolk with the rice. Recommended for Lunch in the CBD!

Ordered the Tom Yum Gong ($10), generous chunks of chicken and mushrooms! The Traditional Prawn Pad Thai ($7.90) was delicious but only had 2 prawns, ok for the price.

Ordered the Porchetta (Baked Pork Belly) with Wild Fennel. The small portion was good for 2, priced at $9 which we thought was very reasonable. The chunks of fat melted in my mouth. šŸ˜ Try it with a bit of the mustard sauce, gives it a different burst of flavour.

Refreshing poke bowl full of vegetables and fruits, with chunks of avocado marinated salmon (~$12). I added all the regular toppings like pineapple, edamame, carrots and tomatoes (no additional cost for choosing all regular toppings). Additional premium toppings like mango, avocado and kale are $2. Will be back but hope to see more generous salmon chunks to keep me coming back for more!

Back to Nana's for my Matcha fix, fulfilled my cravings with their quality matcha parfait. The corn flakes added a nice crunch and texture. Vanilla ice cream melts too quickly until I get to it! In love with the Shiratama's. Get yours for $11.80, available for takeaway too! šŸµšŸ‘

The ice was so soft and nice compared to other places, liked the combo of nuts. Ice cream was also very good quality! We wolfed it down so quickly šŸ˜‹ just wished the portion was bigger for the price. We got it at $12.50 as they had an opening promotion!

Sis @hungrybaker had the Salmon Don ($12) which came with fresh sashimi, lightly seared sashimi and ikura, served with housemade spicy mayonnaise and yakiniku sauce. Top up $2 for a miso soup, side salad and green tea. However, I must say service here needs to be improved. Takes forever to get service staff to notice us despite the fact that there were only three tables occupied.

Decided to try this instead of the best-selling Kaisen don. Was initially put off by the small size, but found it enough (definitely room for more though!). Salmon slices came in big, fresh slices and were adequate in number (6). Friendly Japanese staff manning the counter. Now I just wish there were seats, as this outlet is only available for takeaways! Do recommend others to try the Kaisen don if trying for the first time! Generous chunks of fish šŸ‘Œ

Pleasantly surprised by how much I love the salted egg yolk sauce! Disappointed how the egg yolk didn't ooze out though. Always leave me craving for more when I look at the pictures! Reasonably priced at $14.

Chicken was tender but much saltier than I expected - in a good way. Fries were ok, too thin. Affordable at $14!

Very worth the $15 price tag! Asked the waitress if I could change the baked beans to something else and it was replaced with mushrooms! The toast was buttery and fluffy on the inside. Scrambled eggs were so-so, not as creamy for my liking. The potatoes were cooked with pepper and some other herbs, my friend who had it said that it was really good!
