The taste of the tea tend to be very strong and may not be to the liking of most people, especially for fruity drinks where the tea taste was unexpectedly overwhelming to the point that there is barely any fruit taste.
The honey pearl was not bad though.

Drinks are separately charged teh for $1, $0.20 more for butter added.
The place can be a little disorderly reminiscent of olden days coffeeshops and the service can be pretty slow but i still enjoy the nicely cooked eggs and the toasts which has generous slabs of butter.
Special mention for the $1 curry puff sold at the front of the shop — really enjoyed the crisp yet soft chew of the dough🤤

Had the french waffle + 1 scoop ice cream set x2 with yuzu flavour and milk & choco almond.
The ice cream was really good, smooth and creamy with nice fragrance and taste.
The french waffle was unexpectedly savoury (more salty than sweet), so beware to choose sweeter flavours to complement.
Due to the burpple beyond deal, it was only $10 for 2 sets!
