Always wanted to try Hopscotch and finally did at their Gardens by the Bay outlet!
We tried the Duck Confit with Foie Gras and Barramundi Fish and Chips, as well as one of their cocktails called Secret Remedy, which was served in a ceramic calabash.
They had a wide selection of interesting cocktails as well and we were spoilt for choice, cant wait to come back to try the others!
Had dinner together with my partner at this unassuming restaurant located in the heart of CBD! We shared 1 starter, 2 mains and 1 dessert and were both stuffed at the end of the night!
My personal favourite would definitely be the Grass-Fed Ribeye, the beef melted in our mouths and the accompanied red wine sauce matched it really well.
The manager Roger(?) and the staff on that night was really attentive to us as well, compliments to the both of them!
Recently visited Hong Kong Cha Kee with a friend and we tried the following dishes: Baked Rice with Pork Chop & Tomato, Stir Fried Rice Noodles with Seafood, Iced HK Style Milk Tea and Hot Coffee. We also took away the Scrambled Egg with Fresh Prawns on Rice.
Highly recommend the Scrambled Egg with Fresh Prawns on Rice, the portion was very substantial and the prawns were really huge as well! It was interesting to see the milk tea served in a big bowl of ice, so as not to dilute the milk tea.
Tried the Chef’s Seasonal Lunch Menu this afternoon with a friend and it was really value for money! We had the 4-course meal, which consisted of 2 starters, 1 main and 1 dessert, and were both stuffed at the end of the course.
We will definitely return for our favourite, which was the Cold Angel hair pasta with Oscietra caviar. The apple tart was also really special and different from any of the apple tarts we have ever had.
Compliments to the staff for being extremely attentive and welcoming. My photos definitely don’t do justice to the delicious food that we had at Gunther’s, you’d have to try it for yourself!
First time at Zhup Zhup and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s been a few days since l’ve had lunch there but I’m still dreaming of the rich prawn broth!
Shared 2 mains and 2 sides with a friend, which was honestly a lot, but we managed to finish everything up. We had: Supreme Prawn Noodles with Dry Kway Tiao, Pao Fan, Ngoh Hiang Tasting Platter and Har Cheong Gai. The star was definitely the prawn noodles and its accompanying soup! Would recommend everyone to go and try the rich prawn broth (:
