Had the ala carte Japanese buffet! One of the best Japanese buffets in Singapore. Ordering via a iPad and food comes in beautiful serving plates. Great service. Have to make reservations as they have 2 seatings for dinner approx around 6 and 8pm. They do not take walkins!

First 1-for-1 dish with Burpple beyond membership :) have always wanted to try this interesting Korean noodle joint ;) Enjoyed the rich white wine garlic broth, with huge chunks of garlic in it - was really nice even for a non-garlic lover like me. The noodles were springy and resembled those that you get with Korean ramyun. They were really generous with the clams and mussels too!

Scrambled eggs, sourdough bread and coffee. :) affordable and simple breakfast set. Beautiful scenery overlooking the balcony and really cosy ambience :)

Known more for its affogato and coffee, the toasted bagels are really tasty as well. I chose the smoked chicken ham bagel with its crisp mesclun mix and the cream cheese. Loved the dense inner and crisp outer texture of the bagel. I felt what really shined through was the sweet and savory cream cheese with walnuts and raisins sprinkled.

I felt it was a little early for affogatos this morning, but the coffee and bagel sandwiches in this cafe made a scrumptious breakfast/brunch!

The hot peppermint mocha when paired with a bagel sandwich was cheaper ($13.90 for a set ;)) it had a rich texture with minty hint likely from the peppermint syrup. Would definitely give it a try again!

Meatless Mondays! ;) this soya porridge has a distinct hint of soy milk in it and was a tad bland (not a bad thing definitely as the vegetarian crisp toppings and the vegetarian tofu were a great addition). Recommended for Mondays (after the feasts over the weekends) ;)

A simple yet satisfying waffle that fulfils the criteria of a good waffle with its crisp exterior and fluffy buttery interior, paired with maple syrup and (why not!) MORE butter. Couldn’t really taste the sourdough component (might have been the speed of my inhalation of the waffle ;))

Crown can get pretty crowded on weekends during brunch. So do come early :)
