Char Siew, Roasted Pork, Duck, Stir Fried Kailan, Sambal Fried Rice And Yang Chow Fried Rice My favourite of the lot was definitely their signature Char Siew!! The meat was so tender and sweet yet savoury at the same time! Another favourite was also the jasmine roast duck that had very crispy skin and the meat was also so tender!! The roasted pork wasn’t amazing for me though... the two fried rice (used Burpple Beyond 1 for 1) tasted similar but I liked the sambal one more! All the portions were pretty generous!! Shared the meal with three people and ended up really really full! Cost us $92 total :)

Great Char Siew We ordered 700g of this to share among a family of 8, and the char siew was really good. We first tried this at the Michelin guide festival in February this year, and it really impressed us with the well-caramelised exterior and the tenderness of the meat underneath. The chilli that comes by the side is wonderful too and really packs a punch! Do note that the char siew, along with their signature meats, is not valid for Burpple Beyond 1 for 1, so be careful to check which dishes are valid before ordering, as they have many exclusions.

Roast Pork Loved the roast pork here that was crispy and flavourful - we got 400g of it for our family of 8 to share. The dipping sauces on the side were lovely too - there was a creamy wasabi-infused sauce and the chilli was superb. Do note that all their signature roast meats and char siew are not valid on Burpple Beyond, which is such a pity! Too many exclusions, and most of the items available for 1 for 1 are the less popular dishes.

Charcoal You Tiao (5/5 ⭐) Charcoal You Tiao ($2) I think it's on promotion or something, this is one of the winner! It arrive warm on our table so it's crispy and yet soft! We love this sooo much! The waiter/waitress seems a bit lost they could freeze suddenly. But other than that the place, ambience, and service is great

Founder Bak Kut Teh (4/5 ⭐) Founder bak kut teh ($9.8) Unfortubately this is also the same case in which we got the hard meat, BUT the ribs is soooo soft! It's soft and tender, it's the only piece we actually love from 2 menus. You tiao ($2.5) It's nice crispy and delicious! It's a bit hard and chunky but not a problem for me since I dipped it into my soup The waiter/waitress seems a bit lost they could freeze suddenly. But other than that the place, ambience, and service is great.

The meat on the other side is sooooo hard. I need A LOT of effort just to pick the meat with my chopsticks, biting it down is the only way and it's not that easy eaither! Amazing Wagyu beef, highly recommended! 1 for 1, 7-course meal at $78++. Boyfriend really really enjoyed the Wagyu Marble score 7-8 Tri tip and the Char Siew (beef ribs)! It was tender, juicy and flavorful. We were served a small serving of passionfruit sorbet to clear our palette which really helped before the REAL DEAL - Wagyu beef steak. Creme brulee foie gras tasted interesting. Loved the choc lava cake too, though would prefer if there's no raspberry within. Pretty small place hence reservation is highly recommended. Ambience can be nicer but it does get cozier at night.

7 Courses 7 courses of mostly meat. Main course was disappointing as the meat cut was tough & chewy. Ok for 1for1 but doubt will go back there again.

Delicious Dinner Mid week dinner date at fat belly, ordered sauteed thyme mushroom and truffle fries for a start. Onglet and Deckle as the main dishes and Foie Gras Panna Cotta to end off the dinner. The mushrooms, personally I like it especially when there is onion mixed in them. Tasted delicious with that combination. As for the truffle fries, the amount of fries being served is generous. Here comes the main dish for the night, I ordered the wagyu deckle while my dinner date ordered Onglet both medium rareness it's just nice for us as it's not too bloody. Personally i prefer the Onglet more as its more meaty and less fatty. Well that's personal taste preference, if you like more juicy steak the deckle will suit your taste buds. The beef is being cooked over charcoal and has a charred taste, which I really like it a lot. Had Foie Gras Panna Cotta for dessert, personally I would prefer foie gras on it's own and not being an ingredient for dessert. It comes with fig sorbet with almond crumble which I like more than the Foie Gras Panna Cotta. They do have an open kitchen concept where u can watch the food being prepared and plated before it's being served to you from the bar counter seating. Reservation is a must as it is a very small restaurant and it fills up quickly after it opens for business. Do take note that they are going through a two week renovation soon, do call and check before you make a trip there. Definitely will visit again for the 7 course!
