Good rosti and egg, disappointing meats Do note that the menu is different from what is on Burpple. Base price ($14.90)+ Pork escalope (+$1), Fried egg (+$1), Signature rosti (+$1), Dijon mustard - Pork escalope was tough to cut and mega salty - Fried egg was a fried egg - Rosti was quite nice and crispy Base price ($14.90)+ Grass fed ribeye 180g (+$4.50), Fried egg (+$1), Signature rosti (+$1), Sour cream (+$0.50) - Steak was pretty tough and a bit burnt - Fried egg and and rosti were pretty good OVERALL: the meats were quite a letdown but the rosti and fried egg were pretty good. Would definitely not recommend without burpple beyond and would also suggest to try different meats. But was not a super bad experience because I have low standards for food.
Classic Rosti With Spicy Chicken Bratwurst My delivery took quite long due to bad weather and thought the food would be cold. But it was not! Rosti taste good but the crispy outer a bit hard. I hope I am wrong but this might be due to recook. I liked the spicy chicken bratwurst except the burnt part.
Picnic under the stars With burpple one for one takeouts, we happily settled at the tables around the "fountain" with our truffled rosti meal + ribeye + spatzli. While rosti and sour cream is delightful, the truffle scent seems missing. Ribeye gave a good combi of fats but may be on the tougher side. I miss spatzli (an egg pasta) from my time in Munich indeed - the egg taste is strong (~$27 for two of this, fyi only the mains are one for one)

Eclair, Pie, Drink! ($25.50 for 2 w BB) Finally got to try this place - had their 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 & 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐢𝐞 ($12) while my friend got the 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞⁣. Gotta say i really enjoyed the pie, the crust was slightly sweet while the fillings were savoury. My friend really enjoyed her quiche as well. The quiche crust didnt really taste like much probably because of the chix & bacon pie's crust. For desserts, we had the 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 ($8) + 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 & 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐧 (?). Tbh didnt understand why they would serve us that first HAHAHA by the time we actually got round to eating it, the cream wasnt cold. and eclairs shiok part is the cream inside!! so it fell short of expectations. Preferred the Paris Brest because it reminded me of kinder bueno LOL the other one had white choco on it and was wayyy too sweet. Their drinks (matcha latte -$5.50 and hot choco) were q mehh too hahaha but their pie is rly nubbad :')
Love the Eclaires!! Love the ambience and definitely the eclaires!! 2 drinks + 2 eclaires w burpple 1f1 @13.50 worth 🌞
Eclaires, Tea & Coffee Savored the matcha, dark chocolate and raspberry eclairs. Personally found the raspberry one the best as it was refreshingly good and not too sweet! Do note however that the 1 for 1 deal cannot be crossed shared with more than 2 pax. Everyone has to order an item.

Wagyu Roast Beef Donburi | $15 $12.50 due to 1-for-1 (courtesy of my friend) and it's the best beef bowl I ever had. Wagyu beef topped with light black pepper seasoning and just the right amount of saltines, as well as an egg yolk and the white roasted sesame sauce really made the perfect combination, especially for a first meal out after a long covid break. Portion is a tad smaller than usual and i won't pay the full price for it but it's really good and if there were another 1-for-1 or discounted price I will definitely be back again. (Ambience was pretty comfortable and cozy, employee and boss(?) were also really friendly and helpful!!)
Wagyu Roast Beef Donburi | $15 Came back to patronise because I had such an enjoyable time savouring the wagyu roast beef don the last time (I gave it 5🌟). However, with high expectations means greater disappointment when you realise the standard isn’t really consistent. After tasting how delicious it could be the previous time, this dish this time paled in comparison. It lacked a huge amount of flavour present in the dish the previous time, especially the charred, peppery taste which contributed to the overall tastiness of the dish. Perhaps they forgot to add something, or they added too little of the brown (?) sauce that I realised actually tasted good, and might be the factor which gives the flavour to both rice and beef. Nonetheless, I’ll be back to try again and give it a second chance.😊 Rate:🌟🌟🌟
Wagyu donburi & Unagi Donburi The food was good and the sauce was nice. Below the unagi there’s a soft-boiled egg that was done nicely! I feel the portion is quite filling!
