-Tonkotsu Ramen[$6-$8]
P.S : I forgot the price but I don't think it's over $8!
NO GST AND SERVICE CHARGE TOO, ALL PRICES ARE NETT!!
This TONKOTSU Ramen came with one large piece of chashu that was well cooked as the meat was succulent and tender. The Ramen was quite a good texture, more of the bouncy kind that also soaks up the taste of the broth and thus the ramen has the taste of the soup! My partner had their Oyako Don[$5-$7] and add on a set of hot green tea with 2 pieces of Inari sushi for $2.20! This is one of the most affordable and legit japanese food chains in Singapore I ever been to. Their menu also includes curry udon, salmon sashimi don, etc.

- Suan La Ramen with Paiku Set with sides(Fried chicken) and Drink(Hot Ocha) [$17+]
- Shoyu Ramen with Pork Belly set [$17+] with sides(Fried Gyoza) and Hot ocha drink

My 酸辣 soup broth was really salty and the spicy and sour taste was not as strong as I expected it to be. It was tasty due to the high salt content in the broth which was quite a let-down. It was my choice of order could be wrong, which i had a great lesson learnt: Ordering chinese style food items in a japanese restaurant is just wrong. But Ajisen Ramen chains of restaurants normally have quite a salty soup broth or is it just me? 🤔 Well at least it's pretty worth it for a ramen set but I probably won't be back again as the saltiness level scares me. Well, at least the hot ocha was the saving grace as it quenches my thirst.

-Gnocchi Carbonara[$22.50+]
The pasta was actually in CUBES and is not your typical spagetti noodles or fusilli etc. The taste was even better than the looks. IMAGINE pasta being rolled up together in a dense and solid cube!! You could fully taste pasta for once and this type of pasta is well complimented with cream sauce (but you should be a cream-based pasta lover like me to fully enjoy it). I would advice you to share this dish if you want to try their pretty desserts or have it as your main AND get a dessert too, I swear you won't regret!

2nd time at the famed prata shop at Jalan Kayu! I was not so fortunate at my first experience but this time was definitely better. We had plain prata($1.10 min2), egg prata($2), curry chicken($5.50) and Mutton Bryani(unpictured). I don't find their prata that good and it's not cheap 🤔 and their curry taste wasn't that strong 😭!! Their mutton bryani was the saving grace luckily!! I would be going back for that (THEIR MUTTON IS YUM) and will remember to take a photo of it 😂

1 FOR 1 pork ribs bak kut teh soup, available in both small($8.40) and large($11.40) sizes! Also FREE refill of the bak kut teh soup, which i stopped at only one refill (i paiseh to ask for more 🙈). I am sure the soup broth isn't the strongest tasting around but it's considered quite decent! Also had additional sides of YouTiao($2.20) and Braised Vegetables with some 三成肉($4.20). The chopped garlic, chili and sauces are at the side counter where we could help ourselves to it! This is considered a VERY GOOD DEAL with the 1 for 1 pork rib soup offer!! I am quite glad I had the chance to try with this offer, if not i would not be able to try it as it would not be worth the money spent with the regular price.

Bella - ($8.30)
+ Egglet waffle ($3)
Vanilla ice cream with bananas, red bean and chocolate fondue sauce. I wouldn't recommend this parfait because it tasted too sweet, possibly from the chocolate nutella topping. Worth a try but won't be in my usual go-to place for desserts list.

"Bacon stuffed Pork patty, grilled bananas and creamy peanut butter on a honey oat bun"

This godly goodness cost $11+. I hardly eat burgers as they aren't on my frequent cravings list so i may not know what defines a 'good' burger. However, i know this won my heart and got me craving for this burger again( and i normally don't crave for burgers ). The combination of peanut butter on their juicy pork patty sounds weird but it worked perfectly well. If you are a peanut butter fan like me, you should definitely try this burger where peanut butter is perfectly matched in a savoury dish.

(i spent so much time trying to spell this dish)
Thanks to a recent groupon deal for cash vouchers @bakerzin, i finally am able to step foot into this atas looking restaurant.

This dish is called Grilled Barramundi, also known as grilled seabass. The damage to your wallet is $17.90. Food wise, the taste was pretty average(what can you expect from a grilled fish?) and the portion was quite meagre and not worth the price paid for. Only with discounted deals such as groupon would make this meal more value even when it largely isn't.

Waffles with scrambled eggs, turkey and chicken ham($12)
Iced Americano($4)

No GST and service charge, isn't that quite rare of cares recently? The value of this meal would be worth it for a cafe. Foodwise, i personally liked the waffles as they were the fluffy and soft kind which is my preference of waffles. This dish is a MUST GO for people who love savoury waffles. The waiting time is slightly long as i waited 30minutes+ even though the place was not crowded at all. Still it's worth a try.

Fried chicken & waffles ($22)
Truffle Mac & Cheese ($18)
Lemonade ($9) & Hibiscus Tea ($9)
Good food DEFINITELY the mac & cheese was with mushrooms but taste of truffle covered by the cheese. Waffles was the soft and fluffy kind which was albeit abit weird with chicken but it makes the dish savoury. Drinks were normal? Would not be back for the drinks as it is rather not worth the price. Would love to try their weekend menu soon ( YES ITS DIFFERENT I HEARD ) Service was very helpful though, always approaching us for help.

$1.60 x3
Crispy sweet potato on the outside but inside is SALTED EGG 😍 The filling of salted egg was SHIOK AH!! 👍 Do try this, it's their new dish(and one of my favourite)!!
