This is a coffee lover kind of coffee. There's some bitterness, the sweetness is very subdued. Texture was creamy in a natural sort of way, not from too much actual cream

Some people say this is the best they've had. It's really super thick and strong but it's not chocolatey, I mean some of the chocolate chunks aren't completely blended w the condensed milk and whipped cream so yes I know there's chocolate inside, but the combined taste is not that of pure chocolate, like in many versions of iced chocolate.
Still pretty good, worth a try if you're in the area. Their foods are well loved apparently, someone was moaning about how good the ckn curry w roti was
Wanted to pay the famed Mr Jo Crispy Pork a visit, BUT GUESS WHAT. THEY WERE CLOSED FOR RENOVATION 😭 Had to Google for a substitute for the char siew and siew yoke craving and found this on Wong Nai. But I find the gravy rather starchy and the meat weren’t particularly fragrant either. Let’s just say, I prefer Singapore’s rendition.
Was walking back to the hotel after a late night movie when I chanced upon an old man selling this by the road side. Everything looks delicious and I was pondering what flavour to get among the myriad of choices which ranges from the traditional butter and sugar, to kaya, blueberry and the more interesting ones like chilli. Decided to play it safe and got the butter and sugar which turns out to be the best choice ever? It was warm and the bread was buttery soft, with a generous coating of sugar sprinkled over it. Kinda regretted not getting more of this goody back to the hotel room to enjoy.
