yums.. 😄

With a few outlets across Singapore, Tim Ho Wan has become one of the places that pops into most people's heads when their stomachs holler for "dim sum". Such was the case recently that led my parents and I to visit the outlet at Aperia. And these were a few of the dishes from our meal. The month's special, Steamed Dace Fish with Eggplant ($5), was basically a delicious type of "yong tau fu". Soft steamed rice rolls filled with liver is something not easily found so I got that too. My mum's favourite, the Beancurd Skin with Pork and Shrimp ($5) was as expected, a yummy, sopping, gravy-soaked roll with crunchy filling. The Rice with Chicken, Sausage and Mushroom ($6), a dish my dad wanted, was fragrant but I have to say, I still prefer the lotus leaf wrapped glutinous rice. All in all, we were pleasantly sated by the time we were done.
