Smaller and sweeter, BreadTalk's mini Golden Lava Croissant is just like a cute baby of a croissant and liu sha bun. There was a slight burst of filling but not much of a flow after cutting into it and overall a little too sweet for me. The bite-sized pastry had a nice flaky texture when first bought though it lost a little of its crispness after an hour or so. Going for $1 each, Singapore's first mini salted egg croissant was worth a try for liu sha lovers and best eaten on the spot.

Being the first salted egg croissant I have tasted, it was a interesting combination of textures and flavours. I hope to try more while the hype is still going strong.
