The aroma whilst they are making this waffle is unreal. You’d think you’re full after your meal, but a whiff of this is enough to stimulate your enzymes to digest your food faster to make space in your stomach. From the name of this cafe you’re not going to be surprised that they sell Kek lapis. But the fact that they’d think to take lapis butter to recreate into waffles is plain ingenious. The waffles here are unlike your light and fluffy Belgium waffles you’d find elsewhere, but don’t be deterred! Whilst having chewier texture, it was very light on the palate. This chewy consistency was oddly appropriate, bringing out the flavour of cinnamon and kek lapis out very prominently.

The blue pea vanilla came in a very jarring blue, but it still tasted good. The caramel almond went very well with the waffles as well, especially because it gave an added crunch but was not too sweet. Both scoops of ice cream proved to be a right choice as I found them extremely pleasant and of sufficiently creamy texture.
