The flavour of this phad Thai is remarkably close to what you'll get on the streets of Bangkok, although I think most Singaporeans, like myself, would find it markedly sweeter than most localised renditions of this popular noodle dish.

It comes tossed with rings of squid, two prawns, a smattering of veggies, and chopped nuts, sugar, and chilli flakes to mix in at will.
