Goodwood Park will start taking orders for these takeaway gourmet treats from The Deli from 1 to 26 December 2019. And that includes their famous durian pastries and exquisite desserts. Pictured are:
1. Crystal Glacier Log Cake ($82 nett for 1kg). Glazed with white chocolate and crowned with pastel milk chocolate shards. Within the cake is a delicate almond sponge layer encasing creamy mascarpone, apple mousse and lingonberries, sitting on a base of milk chocolate hazelnut fudge.
2. Whimsical Fairy Cake ($65 nett for 1kg). The light pink glace round cake is decorated with a graceful pink fairy, butterflies and topped with lolly candies. It showcases fragrant butter cake sandwiching strawberry jam.
3. Traditional Christmas Fruit Cake ($66 nett for 1.2kg).
4. Merry Cubes ($88 nett for 1 set). There are 25 vibrant entremets of six delectable flavours here – strawberry, orange, blueberry, lychee, mango and green tea. It's also a good party dessert as friends and family can simply help themselves to each petite cake.
5. Roasted Pandan Scented Turkey with Mantou Kaya Nibbles and Housemade Chilli ($238 nett, serves 8 to 12 pax). The turkey is steeped in a marinade of honey and fresh pandan extract before it is roasted. Mantou Kaya Nibbles are made with mantou, sauteed shallots, shiitake mushrooms, and diced Chinese sausages, then filled with kaya.
6. D24 Durian Puffs ($45 nett for 10 pcs). They also have MSW logcakes, but trust me that their D24 durian puffs is even better. Pure creamy and smooth durian within crisp choux pastry, I'm buying some myself. 🔸
Advance orders of five days are required, and you may visit The Deli from 9am to 9pm daily to place their takeaway orders.
