Parents wanted to try so decided to have a few bites. Dipped into an egg wash and fried, it resembles closely to the local version of a French Toast being fried for the crispiness atop. The bread inside still remains with a little tension when cut, lacking crispiness of a well-executed, fried bread. Inside, the salted egg yolk fillings are on the sweeter side — something I found very close in flavour to certain Liu Sha Baos from some Chinese restaurants. It's not too bad, but it can get a little overwhelming for one to finish given its quite rich and gao in flavour; perhaps something one might want to try just once if they hadn't gotten quite over the salted egg trend ... yet.
