The part we loved about their claypot rice was that it had the crispy burnt ends that we enjoyed. However, despite the black sauce we added twice, it lacked the intense dark flavour. Conversely, we felt it wasn’t salty enough, perhaps from their choice of dark sauce and salted fish. We asked for crispy pork lard, hoping to enhance the flavour but was disappointed with it too.
Guessed this outlet was a better place in terms of comfort but we’d certainly trade that off for taste compared to eating from a coffeeshop.
