Didn’t expect a quail dish for a Japanese restaurant actually. The meal featured modern Japanese dishes with quality ingredients. Sashimi and sushi cuts were fresh from Japan and really good. Flavours in the truffle sashimi carpaccio, seared beef and cod fish were tasty too. The crab cake was dense and had an interesting sauce that reminded us of Mee Rebus, but in a delicious way. Even the soup towards the end had a rich intense taste.
Whether seated by the counter, table or al fresco, the restaurant had a modern cosy feel which we liked. Staff were friendly and provided great services. There were so many more on their menu that would draw us back again.
