Delicious dinner at Akitmitsu vivo city. No queue at 6:30pm on Wednesday! Total wins.

My sister got the ebi ten-don (tempura prawn) and i got the signature tendon (prawns, white fish, brinjal, sweet potato, long bean, corn, mushroom, runny egg). Comes with free miso soup, chawanmushi, and rice - all for a cheap price of $14.90+! We also added a matcha ice cream puff for $2.90. Lots of food. Be sure to add lots of tempura sauce on the rice and tempura, otherwise can be quite dry. The spicy ebi was just lots of jap spice powder, preferred it without. My favorite tempura was the white fish - very surprising because I don’t like cooked fish usually. Chawanmushi was also good. And tempura egg was great with the rice but didn’t have much crispy batter.

In general, the tempura had flavor but some batter was soggy. So only some bits had a good crunch. They should serve it like some tempura places in Japan, separately on a net where the oil can drip off... #tempura #gooddeals
