With a list of ingredients that sounds more at home in a salad menu, it's the whiff of "wok hei" that gives the element of "zi char" authenticity to this fried rice. Unfortunately, I didn't see most of the superfoods anywhere in there, namely the spinach, sunflower seeds or quinoa. But at least the promised ginkgo nuts showed up. It was joined by beansprouts, long beans, tofu, cabbage, soya beans, asparagus and egg. Not quite "superfoods" but oh well.
I assume this discrepancy issue between what's described in the menu and what is actually served has to do with Island Cafe & Bar being re-opened for less than a month. Trust all will be resolved soon and this dish will actually be true to its name.
