I’m not a usual fan of Vietnamese food as I find it a little too mild for my liking, but the Vietnamese fare at MOC Cottage is surprisingly legit and tasty! What intrigued me the most is the appetiser Bánh Bèo Xứ Quảng ($14). The steamed rice cakes with shrimp, fried shallots and scallion oil reminds me of a Vietnamese version of chwee kueh:P Pretty good with a dash of chilli sauce. Overall, MOC Cottage is quite a pleasant surprise!
