Be it spooky or cute, Asanoya got it covered with their latest Halloween special line-up and best-selling Animal series~

Available only until the end of this month, the seasonal bakes are not to be missed. However, from the lot, my picks would definitely be the ghoulish Obake Madeleines ($4.60) and Obake Cookies ($3.60). Moist and chocolatey, the classic french butter cakes were perfect tea time treats as they were none too sweet. Oh so buttery, the cookies were hardly scary as each tender crumbly pastry was perfumed and loving infused with the floral flavours of Earl Grey tea and lavender. The fun Sausage Mummy ($3.80) was a classic cheesy frankfurter in a Danish “Mummy” wrap. Whilst the Black Sesame Imomushi ($4.20) was a sweet charcoal ‘worm’ bread coated with snow powder that is stuffed with white mochi and sesame paste.
