The Whoaffles ($9.50) prove to still be superior even after all these years with the batter being crisp with a soft and airy interior. Paired it with Blue Peppermint Ice-cream and gula melaka sauce; don't know why it has to be blue but it certainly does not fall short of coolness from the mint, pairing well with the rich drizzle of my choice of sauce: gula melaka.

In a world where standards are so difficult to maintain, I'm glad Hatter Street is still holding on fine. 👍🏻
