Desserts are usually not what excites us the most especially when there are more exciting pastas and other bites at the relatively new Caffe Cicheti (previously the space of Fynn’s) at South Beach. This extra virgin olive oil cake has hints of lemon thyme and is served with vanilla gelato, which works well after a heavy mains.
