Literally at one corner of ABC Food Center in Bukit Merah, this stalled is helmed by an old couple. Prices start at $5 for a medium portion (no longer offers $4 small portion) and $6for a large portion.

The fried noodles comes with pork lard and a dollop of chilli paste plus one lime. This is the drier version so those who like their fried Hokkien Prawn Noodles wet and soupy can skip this stall.

The flavour of umami from prawn stock is in there together with just a hint of wok heat. The chilli paste was a bit too salty for my liking. Mixed in the noodles are thin slices of squid, pork and two prawns ($5).

Overall good but definitely not the best. I’ll be back, only if I am in the area and craving fried Hokkien prawn noodles.
