Although there are no broth beneath, each mandu encompasses scrumptious amount of meatball. The best part was that there weren’t any gamey taste.

A famous restaurant that listed as one of the Michelin Guide Seoul Bib Gourmand of 2018/19 is located at the backyard of Myeongdong!
Kalguksu Noodle Soup (8,000won) - This famous store operates like the well-known DTF, fast and efficient.
Mandu Dumplings (10,000won) - Shaped like a xiao long bao, this unpretentious dumplings turned out to be a spotlight.
finally a place which i can tag the location bc its actually in english hahahaha but this was so good 🤤 the meat to skin ratio of the dumplings were insane like practically 95% meat but ain’t complaining :”) the noodles were silky smooth; it’s a v satisfying warm dish loaded w minced meat, and dumplings (broth was amazingly flavourful and sweet too) + service is insanely fast

That sudden craving in this gloomy Sunday for this super good knife cut noodles from myeongdong kyoja!
Had my doubts on myeongdong kyoja when I first heard of them, but one mouthful of these 刀割面 - knife cut noodles, the silky smooth texture tugged at my heart strings.
Any trip to Myeongdong and this would be the popularly recommended place to visit for a bowl of good Kalguksu noodles and Kyoja dumplings.
