One of the seven concepts serving Serangoon Garden-ish Zi Char dishes like this Sambal Stingray ($13 nett). This was pretty popular for dinner time as the 20 seaters outdoor was almost packed.
Other then hot plate fish, they also serve pasta. The Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab Spaghetti ($18.90) was pretty average - the soft shell crabs was pretty good (but can't really go wrong with deep fried food right?) though I felt the pasta was rather bland.
Maybe give it some time to settle down as this place is still pretty new!
