Opened by Pasta Express, Wok Express is the daughter who cooked up delicious wok hei fried rice that bound to satisfy the students and public here. You can smell the smokey strong wok hei in a radius of approx. 12 metre the moment you enter the vicinity. A smell that can and will attack the senses of anyone who pass that area, luring them into the shop to order the fried rice.
The concept is the same as their pasta express where you can either order their pre-match up or select which ingredients and the based fried rice you want.
I had the XO fried rice cooked with chicken thigh, broccoli and a sous vide egg($5.80). It may look small on the outside but actually quite filling. The greasy glistening pearl rice were coated beautifully with wok hei and flavourings. Fried rice were fluffy. Some may find the rice a bit dry which I think so too, so do add a sous vide egg as it helps moisturise the rice and enhance the flavours.

P.s. - TBH... That area just got bad ventilation(air flow not good) but well if the smell is tolerable, it doesn't really hurt much.🤣 Free fried rice perfume is applied to whoever walk past them.
