Even though there was a slight drizzle, the queue for a bowl of chendul is so long that it stretches out to the main road. Also, when queuing, please be careful of the turning cars into this small alley. After a short wait (due to the efficiency of the stall-owner), you get a delightful bowl of chendul that is so nicely paired with the coconut milk, gula melaka and red bean. It may look simple to make but the complexity of doing so is enormous as it has to have the right amount of ingredients to have a marriage.
