I saw the cucumber pickles and experiment with it. They are so addictive!
The daikon pickles was left on our door by our downstair neighbour. Hang already, she goes home then text please see the surprise at the door! Neighbour used Maangchi’s recipe.
It’s super easy. Cut cucumbers 🥒 in a shape that is bite size like. (I can’t find the fancy knife that will cut things like crinkle cut chips, I asked sis she said your buying habit has every fancy tool or gadget, but I think the fancy knife is not in our home, it’s in mum’s home!) So I used an apple corer instead, gives it a nice shape. Don’t laugh, it’s a Wilton apple corer! Hahahahaha.
Put the ingredients in a bottle, I used 2 Jap cucumber, add like 1 teaspoon of salt, shake shake. Then add in one clove of mince garlic. 1 chilli padi. A tiny squeeze of honey and juice of 1 big lime (or half a lemon). Shake shake shake. Then wait for 3-4 hours. Before serving, drizzle 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil over it.
