Most may wonder what’s the attraction at straits Kitchen given that it serves local food which can be found at Hawker centres at a fraction of the price.

And really how better can you perfect local food and what is the measurement stick yard ?

I believe the high occupancy of straits Kitchen is the best testimony of the quality of food that it continually provides.

Given that there’s so much to eat - my focus changes each time I visit straits kitchen.

The focus for today was the malay kitchen.
The beef rendang was simply so good - well marinated beef that is cooked till soft . I have simply eaten either too tough or too oily or salty beef rendangs outside to know how to jump for joy when I find one that’s prepared with quality beef parts and a good rempah.

Just by looking at the photo makes me feel hungry all over again.
