J Gate’s Japanese curry noodle & udon joint dishes out quite a yummy creamy curry udon! The dish, laden with a sea of cream, is dubbed the first in Malaysia. Despite its lacklustre looks, the curry udon beneath that cream is actually cooked to a beautifully smooth texture and is also very flavourful. The cream simply adds a richer dimension, which may feel a little over the top towards the end. Share this one, or just spam the chilli pepper served on the side for some heat to cut through the cream. (It’s labelled very spicy, but is at most, mildly spicy).
