Always a pleasure to have a night chatting with friends while pampering ourselves with good food. Here we are, arriving to a quiet and secluded Izakaya an hour and a half before they closes as we thought they opened till 4am as initially stated on Google.🕓
Had done some research about the place, but to no avail, there are not much information or any updates about it. Furthermore, recent reviews, FB, IG geo-location & hash-tagging, from the public or Manpei is not helping either.😔
Absolute cluelessly as we are, we still went ahead to explore and were glad to have a taste on a few sumptuous items.😮💸

5 Kind Sashimi(Premium)($98)😋
Luscious, fresh and thick cut.
Uni is melty & creamy; Hotate is smooth to the tongue; Toro, Salmon Belly are beautiful, fatty and tender; & Hamachi is bold & buttery.

Uni Ikura Chawanmushi($28)🤤
Loving this! Smooth steamy hot wobbly egg, topped with savoury salmon roe and creamy uni. The serving size of the cup is bigger than usual too.

This is addicting. Dense, flaky and chewy. Unique savoury taste. A very good snack to start with. It makes me wonder where to get this, I want to buy too.

Beef Tongue($13) kinda thick but not fatty enough.
Yakitori($7) is tender.
Chicken Skin($7) super crispy.
Yaki Teba($7)
Yaki Buta($12)😋 is succulent, porky yet flavourful.
All were well-seasoned and nicely grilled.

One of my classic to have. Miniature bombs of eggs.

Standard taste with normal una sweet sauce.

Smooth and delicate. Pure eggs. Thick & fluffly.

Soy salty, not buttery enough but chicken was evenly coated.

Soup taste very clean and clear. Too healthy. Lol. Might be a sudden change in taste from having a heavier palate earlier on.

To fill the tummy. Pork chop was alright, tender and tasty. Got eggs, onions, seaweed and rice too. Comes with a bowl of miso soup.

Side note: Online menu needs an update. Quite a number of items were not available anymore.

Service is good & prompt(cause we last customers)😂, friendly but they lack knowledge on the menu as they were constantly running back to the kitchen asking when we asked certain question.
