In search of the best mille crepe cake in Singapore, I found myself standing in front of Henri Charpentier’s second branch located at Orchard Central and just staring at the wide array of pastries as well as cakes. My eyes wondered to the Matcha Roll Cake and Pudding Chou but my heart was set on having their Mille Crepe.

At $9.60 per slice, their rendition is definitely one of the pricier mille crepe cakes that I have tried. Supported by a base of classic sponge cake, the delicate soft crepes were layered with slightly more cream than usual and a little sweeter, in my opinion. However, still delectable and worth a try; the cake was fluffy and moist with the medley of fruit toppings to give it a touch of tanginess.
