This might be in an inconspicuous coffee shop but the food is great . Lots of options from char kwey Teow to Thai tze Char to claypot rice .
Special mention to the Thai style wanton mee today . Not sure if I am late into the game but passed by many many times not having the opportunity to try .
The noodles were of were high quality and Better still, cooked al well that they remain QQ. No alkaline bad aftertaste.
Looks plain but the homemade chilli was spicy and aromatic. Different from the local style that is typically drenched in sauce - I prefer these clean tasting noodles .
The wantons were juicy and the char Siew was also well made .
Really worth a try when you are at Beach Road - best to avoid lunch time .
Come after 2 pm 😜- and you get all the space to yourself .
