Your restaurant has done you proud.

Let’s start off with the pork belly. The crunch of the deep fried skin was great, not awesome but it definitely made the cut. The dish was also prepared to cater to an array of tastebuds - I for one did not fancy the aftertaste of pork, and the apple sauce at the side made a particularly good blend to mask the strong odour. Herbs were also hidden within the coils of the meat, making every mouth seem like a treasure hunt.

The Mac and Cheese was a pot of savoury goodness that would flood your taste buds as your tongue swims over the sea of cheesy waves.
Last but not the least... the Fish and Chips. Thick fries, thick batter. If you are starving, this would be the dish for you. Deep fried to perfection, though my only complain was finding a couple of fish bones in it... which also goes to show that this is not one of those fillet fishes one gets at the supermarket. Word of the wise, request for more of those tomato sauce. It looks good and tastes AWESOME with the fries.

Need something to wash down those food? I recommend the Spritz. The staff actually cautioned about the alcoholic content and being a lightweight, I got worried for a second. However, all of my worries were drowned out by the drink, with its refreshing taste of watermelon. Alcohol? What alcohol?

Was it cheap? Not particularly, but with the level of ambience, great service and that oompa-loompa tastiness in every bite, you would be amazed by how seemingly inexpensive it adds up. @bsksingapore
