Rounding off the meal at Typhoon Cafe, there’s a selection of desserts such as the chef’s recommendation of Typhoon Pavlova ($13.90) that packs a surprise when you break it apart as there is a vanilla chantilly cream and passion fruit cuff hidden beneath the mountain.

For something unique, there’s also the Cloud Nine ($14.90) which is essentially a jiggly miso soufflé that has a texture as per exactly how it’s name, literally soft like clouds. To prevent any surfeit, a side of yuzu ice cream and vanilla tuile is given to balance the overall flavours.
