Mingalaba.πŸ™ Been quite some time I had Burmese food. So missing it. Also, introducing my friends to Burmese cuisine at little Myanmar πŸ‡²πŸ‡² aka Peninsula Plaza. Settle ourselves in one of the eatary and had some delicious dishes.
-
Fried Rice with Seafood($12)πŸ‘
Decent large plate of greasy fried rice with moderate seasoning, bouncey prawn, chewy sotong, carrot, long bean and egg. Comes with a bowl of chalky flavoured soup.
-
Crispy Eel with Chilli($16)πŸ˜‹
Crazily spicy and crispy but damnnn shiok. Its like eating La Zi Ji(Spicy Chicken) but slightly different cooking style and meat. Love the crispy bits. The eel were coated in thin batter and deep fried. Eel was soft on the inner.
-
Mohinga($9)
Comforting fishy soup dish with rice noodles. Taste more like radish onion stew. Quite a big bowl. Not to my palate tho.
-
Mutton Floss Salad($10)πŸ‘
Refreshingly sharp and spicy. Shredded marinated dry mutton was used, onion, chilli padi and lime for its flavouring. May be hard to chew for some.
-
Plain Omelette
Fluffy, greasy and slightly crisp egg without extra garnishing cause friend cannot see green in it.🀣
-
Steamed Sea Bass with Lime & Chilli($27)😐
Meat was tender but a bit overcooked and bitter due to the zest from the lime skin. Quite similar to Thailand taste. The soup in it was great initially but the lime skin ruined it overtime else it will be a good soup.
