Not a hyperbole. Having had amazing sourdough from many great artisanal bakeries, nothing made me squeal internally like this unassuming loaf.
This Magic of the Moon ($2.50) is a steal at that price. The crust crackled, quite resoundingly, with such a nonchalance. And the fluffy white interior was magically chewy and fluffy due to the right ratio of moistness and doughiness.
Of course bread texture depends on preference. But at $2 50, I could eat this everyday.
