A good variation from the usual prawn Claypot tang hoon ( vermicelli) is this beancurd Claypot tang hoon.

You can the same tasty vermicelli cooked in a myriad of aromatics , white peppercorns and spring onions and nice juicy pieces of pan fried beancurd.

This is the only place I can find this Claypot beancurd variation and the vermicelli is cooked till perfection every time - neither too greasy Nor too dry - just the right balance .
