Hmm... is it related to the one at Bedok? Manned by an elderly couple. Old uncle, the silent one, fries the noodles with slow but swift movements. Old aunty, the friendly and vocal one, takes orders.

I will not compare their version to the Bedok one. Each has its own merits. This is less dry, less oily and not much of a wokhei. What I liked was the generous amount of eggs and beansprouts which gave the dish a nice crunch.

It is not extraordinary. But my heart goes to the elderly couple who in their golden years still toiling hard. So me being a soft-hearted kinda babe, I will certainly go back to give my support. Yes... support our pioneers!! Stall : Hill Street Charkwayteow
