Out of curiosity, I bought all different kinds!
My side of the family, mum cooks Bee Hoon using the finest bee hoon. There are super super fine one (think Heng Hwa Bee Hoon kind). Then I discovered that the wife’s side of the family, they always cook using the thickest bee hoon!
So when sis prepared this Bee Hoon using the ‘laksa’ thickness bee hoon, the wife really like it. She said it’s her childhood food. For me, sis uses kunyit (turmeric) in the bee hoon, so it’s familiar to me. Only in CB times, we start cooking food with flavours we used to eat!
This brand of bee hoon, I think everyone also likes. It’s always sold out! Arghh. We should have bought more (2 packs) instead of 1 pack of each thickness every time.
Are you the fine (you xiu) or the thick (chor lor) kind of bee hoon person? 😂😂😂
