This was the star of the show. The paella took about 30 mins to arrive (as mentioned in the menu) as it was made to order in the kitchen. The paella was bursting with savoury sweetness from the seafood broth and the medley of flavours from fresh squid, fish, black mussels, chicken, and chorizo. The portions of seafood were substantial too. We must commend the generous use of saffron in the paella - this brought a traditional yellow hue and unmistakable fragrance to the rice. We kid you not that the pan was scraped clean!
