Now there’s no need for travelling all the way down to Jalan Besar for the famous Scissor-Cut Curry Rice, because they had just opened a new outlet at the previous location of Hua Nam Restaurant.

Taste-wise, still pretty much comparable with that of the main shop. Just start off with white rice (S$0.50) and the rest is purely up to your pleasures. Just watch for the number of meat dishes you pick, for that will expand the bill significantly. But I enjoyed having the chicken cutlet, long beans, cabbage and (is that?) pork belly, and that costs S$5.00. Still affordable.

Maybe it’s just me, but with a slower turnover than the main stall, the food on display could not be piping hot. Nonetheless, that would not warrant this as my last visit.
