Different from their outlets in the bustling central business district, Wang Dae Bak Grill at Holland Piazza felt a little more vibrant in my opinion perhaps due to the smokeless BBQ which means little to no fumes. However, that also means no egg or cheese top-ups on the rim of the barbecue plate.

Thankfully I came before the usual dinner crowd and the staff did our grilling. A decent set to sample a variety of meats, the Buddy Set ($58) included marinated boneless prime ribs, duroc pork belly/collar, flower pork belly, and marinated chicken. The marinated chicken being my pick, as the marination was done just right. There was a nice savouriness and the protein was uber tender as well as succulent. The cuts were good too and offered a great medley of textures.
