Satisfied my 冒菜 maocai craving at Xiao Noodles in 313 Somerset♥️ The 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗶 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹 ($𝟭𝟮.𝟱𝟬) is so worth it - it comes with a drink, rice and a mini hotpot with a mountain of ingredients including beef rolls, luncheon meat, tofu, enoki mushroom, beancurd skin, Chinese cabbage and glass noodles. This makes a very satisfying dinner and the portion can be easily shared by 2 person with some additional sides.

For sides, I tried the 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗸𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗳𝘂 𝗦𝗸𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 ($𝟮.𝟵𝟬 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵) - they are pretty good too! The fried wheat gluten is not too hard and the silky tofu skewer is very tasty. Enjoyed this meal!
