This was one of the makan places I was most looking forward to prior to my Bangkok trip, because I had heard so much about their 50-year-old soup! After trying their beef noodle soup yesterday, here are my thoughts.

The broth had a nice, clean beefy flavour that was comforting, but I was expecting a more robust and richer broth. The beef parts (beef slices, beef balls, beef tendon etc) were really good though - they were tender and yummy! Overall for me, I would say it still a pretty solid bowl but those expecting a rich broth might be slightly disappointed.
