Had lunch today at the spanking new Jinjo – a modern sumiyaki restaurant in the heart of Orchard. Besides their lunch bowl sets (quite pricy if you ask me), they have a nice range of chicken yakitori available too.

The chicken heart is one of my favourite parts when placed over a fiery grill. If you’re apprehensive, my take on it is that it has this mild liver taste while retaining a much nicer bite to it, made ten times better when it’s gotten a nice char. Eat it quickly though as these were sliced in half, so they cool down quickly. ❤️
