Peppery Teochew style BKT with fresh and tenderly juicy pork ribs. The soup has a good balance of pepper and savouriness, robust, not overly peppery and blends well with the herbs. The pork ribs come with a choice of lean or fatty meat and although we chose lean meat, they were still moist and tender.

The braised tau pok was soft and fluffy but it may get a little salty to be eaten on its own. It is best to have the tau pok with rice while the crunchy salted vegetables help to break away from the salty braised sauce and oily soup. The seafood ball is fragrant, served piping hot, crispy on the outside and soft inside.
